When I was younger, I loved sweets, like candy and cookies, and the like. I was practically raised on it. Now, I don't want them. I think I've finally managed to flush them out of my system, at least for a while.
My boss FINALLY approved my time off in July, so I'm going to visit Texas, baby! WHOO! I'm so damn excited. I cannot wait!
Work has SLOWLY been getting better. I'm busier to say the least, but I'm still bored as hell. Ugh. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that a new job or something to that effect works out. I need a change of pace.
I'm starting Atkins tomorrow. I tried two days of no carbs and I felt amazing. I wasn't sluggish, I had tons of energy and I felt better. Needless to say, it was enough to convince me to start the program. I'm currently scouring to buy the Atkins book. It's a cool program. Although it starts out restrictive, it gradually increases the food you can eat. Plus no carbs isn't that bad. I'm not a huge fan of bread all day long anyway.
We shall see how well it works. I've started cleaning out my kitchen cupboards. I'm donationg most of the old food and buying the stuff that I like.
I'm so excited for the upcoming movies. Charlie's Angels 2, Legally Blond 2, Matrix 2 on IMAX, Terminator 3, Bad Boys 2, and on and on. It's so exciting, that I can hardly contain my excitement!!! :) I love movies!
Amazon.com has assured me that my lost package of DVD's is reordered and it should be here tomorrow, via UPS. We shall see. Keep your fingers crossed. They were really nice about the lost package. It's somewhat irritating as this package had my Buffy Season 4 DVD's in it, but it's not like I have time to watch them. I've got too many others to view.
You know, watching the movies Casino and Goodfellas on regular TV, ruin them. Joe Pesci saying Friggin instead of Fuck every 2 seconds is just sad. I need to add those to my list of DVD's.
It's late and it's time for bed. I'm sleepy. :)
