Sorry - going back through your old entries. Hope you like it here in TX! And to answer your question, No, El Paso isn't much prettier in other parts. My younger sisters go to college there and I hate it too! They love it, but, it IS right on the border to Mexico. . . legal drinking age in Mexico is 18. So I guess 18 year olds would love it.
